Service terms

Agreeing the site, pricing, scope and completion before work begins.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. Enquiries and the contract

Services are supplied by Difograaf OÜ, registry code 10964911, for forest land in Estonia and its owners or authorised representatives. Sending an enquiry or using the calculator creates no contract or payment obligation.

A binding agreement is formed when a written quote is accepted. The quote identifies the parties, site, service, measurement basis, unit price, materials, transport, taxes, total or calculation method, expected timing, payment terms and any special conditions. The client must be entitled to commission the work.

2. Hectares and quantities

One hectare equals 10,000 m². Each service has its own work area, determined from cadastral information, a map, measurement or another written agreed basis. Soil preparation, planting and later care may all take place on the same physical hectare; the operation quantities are not necessarily separate hectares of land.

Young forest care is priced per maintenance visit. Multiple visits are priced for the area agreed for each visit; the calculator’s visit multiplier assumes the same area on each visit. Pre-commercial thinning is not clear-cutting, timber purchase, sale or extraction. Regeneration assessment is not an official forest inventory or management plan.

3. What pricing covers

The website gives starting or base rates. The €600/ha planting base rate assumes prepared ground and approximately 2,000 seedlings per hectare. Care is €400/ha for one visit and soil preparation is €350/ha using the agreed method. Replacement planting covers up to 1,000 seedlings/ha and wildlife-guard installation up to 500 guards/ha.

Seedlings, their delivery, protection materials, equipment transport, exceptional access works and other exclusions in the service description are priced separately unless expressly included in the written quote. A small or difficult site may cost more than area multiplied by the unit rate. Extras and scope changes require prior agreement.

The website shows base rates excluding VAT and separate VAT-inclusive amounts at the current standard rate. Calculator results are indicative. The quote and invoice use the tax treatment legally applicable to the transaction. An individual invoice without VAT does not establish a general exemption.

4. Site and scheduling

The client provides a map or boundaries, access instructions and known restrictions and hazards. Before work, responsibilities for required permissions, notifications, owner consent, environmental and other restrictions are clarified. Work does not start if the right to perform it or safe access is unclear.

Operation sequence and season are confirmed separately. Weather, soil bearing capacity, freezing, fire risk, environmental restrictions or safety may require rescheduling. Material changes are communicated promptly and new timing agreed. Contact hours do not promise fieldwork on every working day.

5. Materials, workmanship and completion

Where the client supplies seedlings or guards, the quantity, suitability, delivery and responsibility for storage are agreed. Unsuitable material or conditions require a revised approach before work continues.

On completion, the result is compared with the agreed area and method and recorded in a summary or acceptance document. Concerns should be reported without undue delay; an agreed inspection does not remove statutory rights. Forests are living environments: weather, wildlife and later maintenance affect tree condition. No fixed survival rate or future timber value is guaranteed; this does not exclude responsibility for defective workmanship.

6. Payment, changes and cancellation

Payment method, any deposit and due date are stated in the written quote and invoice. This website collects no card payments or bank-account information. Changes in commercial or technical conditions require a revised or additional agreement before extra work.

The consequences of postponement or cancellation are governed by the contract and applicable law. Consumer distance-contract withdrawal and early-start requirements are explained on the consumer rights page. Consumer withdrawal rights do not automatically apply to business clients.

7. Complaints and disputes

Send complaints to varjunik366@inbox.eu with the work reference, a description and the remedy requested. Written consumer complaints receive a response within 15 days; if resolution within that time is not possible, we explain the delay and give a justified further deadline.

We first seek an agreed resolution. Consumers may contact the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee or a competent court. Estonian law applies without depriving consumers of any mandatory protection applicable to them.
